Born in 1980 in Niterói, Eloá lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. She graduated in Painting from UFRJ and attended several courses and study groups with artists and contemporary art theorists. Her artistic research is related to the image and the construction of a kind of silent narrative through the presence of different figures, as well as possible relationships.

The images created by the artist start from her interest in the historical investigation of photographs and cinema, as well as from the poetic perception of everyday life, in its physical and ideological characteristics. Her work articulates with the layers of memory, rescuing photographic and documentary archives through a careful editing process. His painting reflects the world of which we are a part, always being her first language in art.
