On May 7, 2026, the Silvia Cintra + Box4 Gallery inaugurates the first solo exhibition of artist Tiago Cavaliere, entitled All the Ways of the World. The show presents a set of approximately 40 sculptural objects and 5 videos produced between 2022 and the present, which synthesize the artist’s research on the power of what is ignored and the ethics of manual making. The exhibition features a curatorial text by Pollyana Quintella.
The exhibition proposes a dialogue between procedural rigor and what the artist defines as an atavistic muscular memory, related to the way things behave in the world. Through everyday materials such as plaster, wood, and wire, and with a kind of physical humor, Tiago seeks to elevate small situations from daily life—often overlooked—to another level in the perceptual hierarchy.
In these compositions, the intimate scale and the valorization of minimal gestures take precedence over any desire for monumentality. Cavaliere turns his gaze to spatial subtleties, finding strength in what hesitates, in what seems unfinished, or in what stumbles with a certain grace. There is a physical humor and a slight discomfort that reorganize our relationship with the visible, allowing materials originally alien to the universe of art to gain a new place in the hierarchy of the senses, exposed in their full transparency and fragility.
By exploring the boundary between silence and intensity, Tiago Cavaliere transforms small everyday situations—often rendered invisible by a hurried gaze—into critical tools for reflecting on the transparency of processes and the beauty of what is unstable.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening night.
