The Silvia Cintra + Box 4 gallery is pleased to announce its participation in ArtRio 2025’s Solo Program with a booth dedicated to the artist Thix (Stand S7), offering the public an immersion in the artist’s recent production.

In this edition, at the invitation of curator Ademar Britto, Thix focuses on her series of self-portraits, complemented by works from the Bibêlos series and other portraits linked to the celebration of collective stories of non-normative identities. The selection establishes a direct dialogue with the acclaimed exhibition “Réquiem para um nome”, presented at the gallery in late 2024. The works reveal the depth of the artist’s research, which navigates issues of identity, memory, and representation. The public will have the opportunity to follow Thix’s poetic continuity, which explores self-analysis and portraiture as tools for constructing powerful visual narratives.
